Video: Ibn Inglor, “BLACK PRINT”

November 12, 2013

Chicago's Ibn Inglor released one of the most slept-on experimental rap tapes of the year, the thrashing and visceral New Wave. Here's a video "BLACK PRINT," a sort-of mission statement for that tape, where Inglor snarls against comparisons, pleading, Stop putting me on the highest pedestal, let me work. Produced by Tom Tripp and directed by Andre Muir, the video's a fittingly trippy, Twilight Zone-type descent into Inglor's psyche.
