Supreme and Schott recreate a crucial coat

When icy days become unending, it’s important to wrap yourself up in a cold weather wardrobe that lets you do a little dreaming: shearling jackets evoke Times Square during the ’77 blizzard and listening to Minnie Riperton songs to keep warm in an era when New York was truly cold. Streetwear institution Supreme has teamed up with the 100-year-old brand Schott, creators of the original leather motorcycle jacket, for an update on the shearling coat that means we won’t have to go rifling through moth-ridden thrift bins to get the look. And unlike some of the originals, too often cut from scratchy, synthetic fabric, it’s streamlined and made from squishy-soft, custom-fit sheepskin that promises to keep you cool and warm all winter long.
