Stream: Tree, "Like Whoa"

On January 21, Chicago's premier soul trap rapper-producer Tree will follow-up on last year's standout Sunday School II: When Church Lets Out tape with an EP called The @MCTreeG. Here, a first taste: "Like Woah," which finds Tree applauding wins humble (a semester making straight Bs) and huge (spent a clutch at Saint Laurent) alike. There's a certain delight in his voice that gives his growl sort of avuncular-vibes; he sounds like he truly does want to see each and every one of us shine like woah. Keep your eye out for a video later this month. For more on Tree, revisit his Beat Construction.
