Download Doe B’s Definition of a Trapper 3 Mixtape

Download a posthumous collection of unreleased songs from Montgomery’s Doe B, one of Alabama’s strongest voices before he was murdered in December.

April 01, 2014

Last December, Montgomery rapper Doe B was murdered in a bar in his hometown. He was 22. He had a knack for melody and unfussy narrative; T.I., who had signed him to his Grand Hustle imprint, had called him the "Southern Biggie." Today, his posthumous mixtape, Definition of a Trapper 3, is finally released (D.O.A.T. 2, featuring his biggest song, "Let Me Find Out," came out in 2012), an 18-track collection of previously unreleased material with guest appearances from T.I., Kevin Gates, Trae The Truth, Young Dro and more. Stream it below, or buy an extended, no-DJ version (featuring the haunting, world-weary T.I. collaboration "Why") here.
