Brighton, UK trio The Wytches just shared a video that, in a weird and amateur way, perfectly suits their dark-hued surf rock and its heavy, crusted-over atmosphere. Shot on VHS with a $200 budget, the video for "Robe For Juda" looks like a project for a middle school-level film class in which the assignment was to re-create Dante's Inferno. Unless the orange and red fabric that they sliced up to make "flames" was Egyptian cotton or something, I'm pretty sure they spent most of that $200 on beer. In July, The Wytches will tour North America with METZ and Cloud Nothings; dates are listed below.
