Download a Stormy Mix from Darkstar Ahead of Their US Tour

FADER PREMIERE

Ahead of their US tour which kicks off at Moogfest at the end of the month, UK trio Darkstar have pulled together 30 minutes of sine waves, stormy signals and some of the finest synth compositions on the planet. Golden oldies Kraftwerk and LFO rub shoulders with newbie Throwing Shade (who we premiered just last week) and a spot of untitled elegance from dance music's masked man, Zomby. While there's no new Darkstar in the mix, rest assured that the Warp Records band are currently holed up in their London studio working on new tracks, which they say have a "feeling of urgency about them," so expect to hear the results on the upcoming tour (dates below).

Tracklist:
LFO - "Nurture"
THROWING SHADE - "Mystic Places"
KUEDO - "Vectoral"
KRAFTWERK - "Sex Object"
ZOMBY - ???
SWEET EXORCIST - "Testone"
ZOMBY - "Operator"
KOUDLAM - "See You All"
MYLER - "Machine Eleves"
JOVONN - "Back to House Ian's New Dub"

Darkstar tour dates:
4/25 Moogfest - Asheville, NC
4/30 Glasslands - Brooklyn, NY
5/1 1015 Folsom - San Francisco, CA
5/2 The Echo - Los Angeles, CA
All dates with support from patten.
