Stream Doss' Self-Titled EP

Like a candy necklace on a rainy day, the new self-titled, four-track EP by electronic artist Doss is now streaming in its entirety. Doss, who as far as I know is a girl named Baby from Minnesota, makes music that exists inside the sort of sleepless, airy, sugar-coated sonic spaces usually occupied by light trance and '90s dance pop. The lyrics are minimal but memorable; I don't care about anyone, she whispers on "Softpretty," the EP's vaguely tropical second track. The whole thing is zoned-out bliss—melodic music for feeling good or, maybe, for not feeling anything at all. The EP is now available on vinyl via Acephalé.
