FADER TV: Lykke Li Would Rather Bake a Pie than Make a Happy Song

Swedish chanteuse Lykke Li has long abandoned her poppy "Little Bit" roots for the moody emotive songs that fill her new album I Never Learn. We sat down with Li, after an intimate listening session at Converse Rubber Tracks, to talk about the stripped bare sound of I Never Learn, her film debut in the Swedish thriller "Tommy" and why she's hell bent on making sad songs. In case you missed it, stream Li's newest album I Never Learn, ahead of its May 5th release, and for old time's sake, revisit her cover story, "Getting To The Heart of Lykke Li" from The FADER issue 72.
