Gold teeth like I ate Midas, no gingivitis, Mr. Muthafuckin eXquire rhymes relaxed over a soul loop on "Life of Pi[e]". Hearing him link up with Kool A.D. and Boston newcomer Michael Christmas feels like a step in the best direction for eX: all three share a passion for stoned humor, scattered and rambling flows and couch potato cultural references from Mega Man villains to Dave Chappelle's Nat King Cole sketch. Wouldn't be mad at hearing more from these three together down the line, but Christmas is a particular standout—his Is This Art? mixtape is a gem, and includes a chunky eXquire guest verse tucked in the latter half.
