As part of a concert series revolving around their Rubber Tracks Studio in Brooklyn, Converse brought the high-minded San Francisco rapper Iamsu! to Music Hall of Williamsburg last night. After a set from the similarly abstract Brooklyn locals, Phony Ppl, the preeminent face of the HBK Gang descended on the Music Hall stage for a goofily grinning, high-spirited run through his hits.

Fresh off his inward-looking May LP Sincerely Yours, Su's set seemed celebratory, and runs through recent hits like "Hipster Girls" (which he dedicated to the Brooklyn crowd) and older ones like Sage The Gemini's "Gas Pedal" were no less than triumphant. On "Plan B," Su claims to be "the biggest thing since Mac Dre," and with a few more shows like that he might not be too far off the mark. Browse a gallery of photos from the show above.
