DOOM and Bishop Nehru Meditate on “Om”

The second NehruvianDOOM single has been released.

Every year, we're forced to sift through rumors of collaborative projects with the ever-elusive DOOM: Madvillain 2, that Ghostface joint—to name a few. Believe it or not, we do have an official release date for his album with 17-year-old New York emcee Bishop Nehru, and a new single to go along with it. The LP, titled NehruvianDOOM, is due September 23, and on "Om," the duo sets high expectations. DOOM delivers a dour hook while Nehru weaves through epiphanies and delusions in two quick verses. "Am I being idolized / Or am I a pair of idle eyes?," he asks. The pairing between Nehru and DOOM is a little unusual, but we're not questioning the results thus far.
