Jeezy Remains Trap Boy Royalty on “Me Ok”

Jeezy releases Me Ok video in preparation for Seen It All album.

Jeezy has morphed nicely into a rap elder statesman. Tens years after his breakthrough Trap or Die mixtape, Jeezy teams back up with Drumma Boy on "Me Ok" and takes a tour of Atlanta in a video that looks like it could have popped up during any part of his career--self-branded black tall tees abound here. His jeans might be more fitted than in his Thug Motivation days and he might own a couple more pairs of leather pants than in '05, but he's still the same Jeezy that can make any stomping trap beat into a life-affirming anthem. Many alleged trappers-turned-rappers have sprouted from his city in the last decade, but Jeezy remains the unmatched thug motivator.
