Model Ataui Deng Has Been Missing Since August 6th According to NYPD [UPDATE: Deng is “safe and sound”]

Authorities are looking for info on the NY-based, Sudanese models whereabouts.

Khartoum-born, NYC-based model Ataui Deng has been missing since Wednesday, August 6th around midnight, after leaving XVI Lounge and The Attic nightclubs at 251 West 48th Street, according to dnainfo.com. Deng, who is the niece of model Alek Wek, has lived and worked in New York City since 2008, where she moved from San Antonio, Texas, after leaving Sudan. Deng, one of the faces of Rihanna's River Island collaboration and a member of the Trump Models family, is 6'1 and 110 pounds, with a dark complexion and slim build. This afternoon Rihanna, in between her "Monster" tour stops, joined the search effort asking her 36.8 million Twitter followers to share any info or sightings regarding Deng's disappearance. 

Update: According to a tweet posted by her boyfriend, Grant Monohon, Deng has been found and is "safe and sound."
