This morning, Kelela and Le1f dropped "OICU," a new track produced by P. Morris. You would think Kelela's particular brand of melancholic come-hither and Le1f's smirking growl would fight each other, but P. Morris deftly layers and fades them 'til they sound just right. The song lies somewhere between a club banger, something from vintage Fade to Mind and a late night sex jam, or maybe it's all three at once. Video surfaced of P. Morris quietly dropping the track when he opened for FKA Twigs at Webster Hall a couple of weeks ago, but now it's here in all of its streamable glory. Take a listen and decide where it lies.
