Love it or hate it, "Go," had a presence this summer. I'm definitely in the "love" camp; it felt like Grimes playing at massive, festival-ready dance music before realizing that she can never stop being herself, which is inherently a tiny bit "off." I also like that she somehow managed to offend and appeal to both experimentalists and EDM heads. We were aware that the polarizing song was getting a music video because Grimes has been getting stoned and tweeting out production stills of the editing process. Now, though, there's an official trailer for the clip, which feels like an unnecessary thing but looks really good, so I'm not mad.
