I am a slave to these make-believe things you say to me/I built this hate machine off broken dreams… It sounds like something might have somebody a little paranoid on “Hate Machine,” the new track by California five-piece The Neighbourhood featuring Danny Brown. The tune’s smoked out, sitar-over-808s trap beat suggests as much. Danny keeps his head in the game, though, and knocks out one of his reliable, taut-yet-elastic verses with ease, rapping, Can't think, can't sleep, can't eat, can't speak/Game so strong thought I had a cheat sheet. Check it out below:
