Succumb to the Frisson of Berlin Producer She’s Drunk’s “The Wild Yard”

London label Liminal Sounds must have a penchant for artists with kerrrazy names. Back in May they put out a 12" by Melbourne producer Air Max '97 and now they're releasing an EP from Berlin-based producer She's Drunk. "The Wild Yard" is taken from his (of course it's a him) Physical EP and it distills dancehall's rhythmic energy into a low-slung, erratic heartbeat. A frisson of that music's hypnotic power remains, however, echoing its way around the cavern-like club environment he carves out. Liminal Sounds will release Physical on September 22nd.
