Kate Lanphear Is the New Editor-in-Chief of Maxim

As New York mag points out, Kate Lanphear is now the EIC at a men's interest publication, Maxim. We are intrigued. The former style director of T, the New York Times' style magazine, had this to say about her new position: 

"I am thrilled at this opportunity to join Maxim as the brand embarks on a new chapter. I hope to cultivate and broaden Maxim’s coverage of style and culture. It’s an exciting time for this boldly confident, unapologetic brand." 

Anna Wintour Acknowledges About Her Burner Phone

We've already given a heartfelt, approving thumbs up to Anna Wintour's burner phone in the form of a Daily Inspiration. Now, though, you can watch her answer "A Flip Phone," when probed about what kind of cell she has in this pretty unreal edition of Vogue's "73 Questions With...." series. Other highlights: not wanting to take a selfie, hating the word "journey" as used in the fashion world, and calling Brooklyn the "new Silicon Valley."
