Lana Del Rey's fans across the pond are going to be very disappointed upon hearing this: the Ultraviolence singer has canceled all of her scheduled appearances in Europe due to an illness, MTV reports. It published a statement from her record company Polydor/Universal Music: “For medical reasons independent of our will, the artist has been forced to cancel all promotional activities planned in Europe over the coming days.” This latest development has also forced Lana to postpone her appearance on a BBC Radio 1 program, having already skipped some concerts in Paris for Virgin Radio. In our recent FADER cover story interview published earlier this summer, Lana had commented on her health: “I’d been sick on tour for about two years with this medical anomaly that doctors couldn’t figure out. That’s a big part of my life: I just feel really sick a lot of the time and can’t figure out why.” As of Monday afternoon, her website listed a few scheduled North American performances next month, including for the Austin City Limits Music Festival in Texas and two dates in Mexico City. Get well soon, Lana.
