Hear the 12-song collection of sludgy rock a week ahead of its release.

September 30, 2014

A couple months back we debuted a video from Burger Records band Tomorrows Tulips featuring two disparate tracks from the California trio's third full-length, When. That 12-song release—premiering below in full—is all over the place, lazily careening from lo-fi glam ("Baby") to syrupy slow-rock ("Confetti and Glue") to bong-ripped experimentalism ("Favorite Episode"). "Down Tuned Self Pity" is probably the album's bleakest song and also an early personal fave; it features lyrics like You don't understand how hard it is to be a man til you're broken like I am sung over clumsily strummed, slightly out-of-tune acoustic chords. When officially drops next week, October 7th, on Burger.
