Death Grips Has Finally Finished That Swan Song Album

The band, who announced its imminent break-up this past summer, said it has finished its last album, ‘The Powers That B.’

This past July, Death Grips surprisingly announced they were breaking up and did so in rather a quite ballsy fashion on Facebook. But it turns out that they weren't quite completely over, as the duo has now taken taken to social media again to say that their double album, The Powers That B, is now finished with the release date to shortly follow, Pitchfork reports. (Check out the cover art for the new record above). The group had released the first half of the album, niggas on the moon, which featured guest artist Björk, back in June, with the second half jenny death expected to drop sometime after. The news of the breakup resulted in the cancellation of their tour dates, including some with Nine Inch Nails and Soundgarden. While we're counting down to Death Grips' last hurrah, stream or download niggas on the moon below.
