"It Ain't Safe" is a cross-continental connection between the UK grime legend Skepta and A$AP Mob member Young Lord. The cover art recalls the West Coast rap godfathers of N.W.A. and the hard-hitting rumble recalls an '80s industrial thump, not a million miles away from Future's hit from earlier this year, "Move That Dope." Young Lord takes control of the hook stating It ain't safe on the block not even for the cops, and Skepta allows his own flow to be a little be more Americanized as to not rhyme himself right off the track. It's a stylistic switch-up that the duo work to great effect.
