Do you remember the first time you heard Drake's "Worst Behavior" and paused to wonder, "What is happening in this beat? What style is this?" The only person who could really tell you is the producer behind it, DJ Dahi, and he does exactly that in this wonderful little documentary by director Lorenzo de Guia. The rising LA producer has a pretty impressive CV: along with said Drake track he also produced Kendrick Lamar's "Money Trees," co-produced Big Sean's recent hit "IDFWU", and is apparently in the studio with Madonna. He has a lot of illuminating things to say in the really nicely shot film, speaking on his mentality as a producer and the story behind some of his hits—although being talkative is not his usual mode. "I'm not the greatest person that verbalizes how I feel, but I put it through my music so you kinda understand what I'm talking about," Dahi explains in the doc. "That's just the way I communicate. As long as you're making dope music, that's all that really matters."
