Heady Chicago rapper Mick Jenkins has shared a vivid visual for "Dehydration," the DJ Dahi-produced cut off his Earl Sweatshirt-approved The Water[s] mixtape. Directed by Nathan Smith (who also worked on "Jazz"), the video tells the story of a young man living under the dark cloud of violence that's currently hanging over Jenkin's native city. "The character I play is someone who's caught between the gang world and the chiller aspect of just really hanging out and being with friends," he explained for XXL. "In that situation you're torn between to retaliate or do something better and get out of the lifestyle; that's the dichotomy being shown in that video." Watch once, watch twice, drink the water.
