Charli XCX's "Breaking Up," from her forthcoming sophomore LP Sucker, carries strong 1990s alt-rock vibes—think Veruca Salt's "Seether" transformed into a schoolyard chant—and the BRTHR-directed video is similarly nostalgic, taking the so-long-see-you-never vibes of the song into VHS-styled literal territory and recasting them at a bowling alley with a few shots that may or may not be references to the Coen brothers' 1998 stoner classic The Big Lebowski.
