Hopping onboard for Damian Marley's inaugural Jamrock Reggae Cruise allowed us the opportunity to experience once-in-a-lifetime dancehall music moments, to admire the festive cornucopia of irie fashions and, maybe most importantly, to pick the brains of reggae's leading artists and DJs about what else: weed. We asked 11 musicians—smokers and non-smokers alike—to share to their personal thoughts on cannabis, the benefits of its medicinal uses, and the rise of vape culture. Their answers ranged from the poetic: "When I get high, I never get low," to the industrious: "Hemp seed oil can be used instead of the gasoline that's polluting the air." Check out the entertaining (and oddly informative) clip above, and if you're ready to take a hit of the iriest vibes at sea, the Jamrock Reggae Cruise sets sail again next year; check their website for more info.
