The FADER Made A Music Video With Awful Records

Watch Father’s “Ignore,” featuring Slug Christ, Stalin Majesty, and appearances by damn near the whole crew.

So much of what we do at FADER is about celebrating things that other people have made, but we make stuff too—this website, this magazine, these videos. This year, it's been hugely inspiring to see firsthand how Awful Records works together, as heartwarming and motivational as sloppy house parties and nun porn can get. After we brought the squad out for October's FADER FORT in New York, we got swept up in the spirit of tequila-fueled collaboration and our senior producer, Shomi Patwary, decided to film an on-the-fly music video for Father's "Ignore." Everyone started in a studio we'd rented outside the venue, then spilled into the street after we got kicked out, which seems about right. Slug Christ and Stalin Majesty have verses in the video, which also features the label's KeithCharles Spacebar, Ethereal, Richposlim, Lord Narf, Micah Freeman, Dexter Dukarus, GAHM, and some of the best bunny hopping since Luch Millions.
