Inspired by the ubiquitous influence of "model-off-duty style," the new Alexander Wang denim line sounds, on paper, like a damn dream. The three iterations have minimal stretch, inconspicuous rivets, mid to high rises, and slim without veering into skinny. Vogue has the full run of Denim x Alexander Wang's visuals today, and we're just not sure how to feel. Some of the slimmer black styles are absolutely fire, but the looser ones look like they might only look good on models. The Denim x Alexander Wang line is so understated we're just not sure how we'll feel until we actually get to experience them for ourselves. Also, is that sandblasted denim? Maybe we're just jaded and spoilt for choice in our oversaturated denim market, and can't accept a good thing when we see it. In this case, wearing will be believing so jury's out until we try 'em on.
