The Payne Lindsey-directed video for Naughty Boy and SAM ROMANS' "Home" takes the song's title quite literally, showing people in various states of transit—leaving home, coming home, on their way home, and just straight-up enjoying the comfort of the place they call home—as ROMANS hits an uplifting melody over Naughty Boy's easy beat.
"The first day I met Naughty Boy I had just got back from New York and arrived at a pitch black studio to find him asleep on the couch. I was sent away for 2 hours," ROMANS told FADER in an e-mail. "Within 10 minutes of returning he played me the backing track of what would become 'Home.' I wrote the melodies and most of the lyrics within 30 minutes, we recorded the vocals and I left. That evening he called me to say it was his next single. It's just one of those songs that you write and instantly know you've made something effortless and classic. As more and more people heard the song we realised that the concept of Home is so diverse. I wanted the video to reflect this and tell the story of real people and what Home means to them."
