Jahlil Beats caught one this summer, largely by accident. A stray beat of his ended up under Bobby Shmurda's bullet-riddled "Hot Nigga" verse, and now the Philadelphia producer is dropping an EP, Planet 7, full of corner-flooding features from longtime collaborator Meek Mill, plus Lil Boosie, Kid Ink, Lil Jon, RL Grime, Juvenile and more. Today, he premieres a new remix co-produced with AraabMuzik, flipping Key!'s "Give Em Hell" into a smoother, slower burn that still bellows just as loud. "I was in NY on Tuesday and linked with AraabMuzik, this new artist Boogie, and a few others," Jahlil explains to FADER. "We decided to do some remixes for the people. Everyone in there said we should flip this." Don't miss the "Destruction" beat they dropped last week for more bang.
