ForteBowie Debuts “So Emotional” Video & Hits The Road

“Nowadays these niggas in my city run away from vulnerable... 2015 is about real.”

If Drake were braver with range and bouncier with beats in his early days, he might've snuck a ballad like ForteBowie's "So Emotional" on So Far Gone. Bowie sings capably over jubilant production on his latest cut, sounding legitimately bummed: Fell in love with the right girl with the wrong mind, and these the kind of things you gotta learn as you go, he reflects. The Atlanta rapper/singer is transparent when he tells us about the Freeze Frame Media-directed video, which he's dropped to celebrate his upcoming tour: "Nowadays these niggas in my city run away from vulnerable. I don't care anymore," Bowie explains to the FADER. "The girl in the video is someone I've actually been 'emotional' about. You know, 2015 is about real." ForteBowie's Passion & Confusion drops this spring—catch him on the road starting this Thursday.
