Today is a truly heartbreaking day. In the early hours of this morning, various members of A$AP Mob shared the news that their founder A$AP Yams had passed away at the age of 26. "You were the brilliant mind, you put us on Game, you changed our lives," A$AP Ferg wrote on Instagram, adding "you will be missed Bro. We done touched a lot of ground together, landed on a lot of different soil!" Rocky also posted a picture of his partner along with the caption "R.I.P. YAMS, I LOVE YOU BROTHER."

It's not just the members of his own crew who have been showing respect today, though: Yams was such an influential and well-loved figure behind the scenes in 2010s hip-hop that the entire community has been sharing their grief at this sudden tragedy. Drake, M.I.A., and Wiz Khalifa are among the many musicians and tastemakers that have remembered Yams today, and will continue to do so for a long time yet. See their words below.
