Dutch producer David Douglas' latest collab with London vocalist Lenka Boyd, "Higher," is a slinky slice of electro-pop that, true to its name, feels like it's literally ascending into an elevated plane melodically. The single officially drops today, February 23, via Atomnation. "When I was writing new songs for my full-length album, I was reading the journals that [Scottish naturalist David Douglas] kept during his journeys through North America," Douglas explained in an email to FADER. "He wrote about the splendor of the moon during his astronomical observations, and I realized that this celestial object has been observed since the dawn of mankind… Moon Observations is a musical ode to all moon observers in time."
