Mirjana Puhar, a Serbian-born 19-year-old, was murdered in a triple homicide on Tuesday in Charlotte, North Carolina. Puhar was a contestant on last year's season of America's Next Top Model. According to The Hollywood Reporter, Puhar was found dead along with a man identified as Jusmar Isiah Gonzaga-Garcia, and her boyfriend, Jonathan Cosme Alvarado. On Wednesday, Emmanuel Jesus Rangel, a 19-year-old male, was arrested and charged with three counts of first-degree murder. The Hollywood Reporter writes that "preliminary information may indicate the killings were drug related." Rangel was also apparently charged in regards to a killing that occurred Sunday in Matthews, a different town in NC. Matthews police officer Tim Aycock told the Charlotte-Observer that police are not sure if the two incidents are connected but that "it's very suspicious that the same guy is charged."
