You could compare GEN F artist Tobias Jesso Jr.'s debut LP, Goon, to many things that are warm and cozy—a nice sweater, a cup of tea, a wintry morning in a heated house—which is to say that it's extremely comfortable music to listen to, like being situated right in the middle of a glowing hearth (without being set on fire, of course). This is funny because Goon is also an exquisitely sad, lonely-sounding album, but I personally promise that it won't get you down too much—and if it does, well, maybe you're just connecting with it in a way you didn't expect. Isn't it fun to discover new things about yourself? Stream the whole thing over at iTunes Radio.
