On Soundcloud, Turkish electronic musician Başak Günak describes her Ah! Kosmos project as "a research of how the sound bounce off the walls and between bodies, follow to the realm of inorganic beings; just like how planets and kosmos work." A desire for celestial sensuality is clearly evident on her new track, "Trace Of Waterfalls"—this is music that really does aim to be bigger than itself, to resonate with the force of the planets. Forming around an entrancingly simple synth, the track builds via constant layering of percussion and electronics. The result is both captivating yet strangely melancholic.

"'Trace of Waterfalls' suggests a groundlessness to trace the rhythmic existence of the senses and encounters that I'm excited by," Günak told The FADER. "Once I had a conversation with a unicorn about how existence is full of possibilities; my inspiration for that song comes from that moment." Stream the track below and be on the lookout for Ah! Kosmos' debut album, Bastards, due April 24th on Denovali Records.
