Phantasy Sound’s Kamera Debuts “Cold Land” From His New EP

Some lush drum and bass for your ass.

March 25, 2015

Phantasy Sound, Erol Alkan's independent record label, just put Kamera on the roster. Wasting no time, he shows out bearing his premiere EP Arc, out on vinyl April 27 (digitally, May 11). Kamera contextualizes his first single, "Cold Land," "[it] came from an obsession with poly synths, Serrano ham and artists from my youth." The track certainly evokes memories of synth-heavy fight scenes from the metallic and pleather coated movies of the early '00s. Peculiarly, "the track was written and recorded in a shed in rural Mallorca surrounded by goats, geckos and lemon trees." Listen to nature sounds and drum and bass collide below and pre-order vinyl here.
