Watch The Cinematic Video For Danny Seth’s “I Arise Because”

An impressive-looking visual for a track from Seth’s forthcoming Perception mixtape.

The video for Danny Seth's "I Arise Because" features the rapper doing his thing in a variety of locales—a gritty-looking urban landscape, a field of white flowers, in the rain, on a dusty road with a tricked-out car—and at the end of the clip, which was directed by Nick Walker and Karim Huu Do, Seth's confronted by a very familiar (and potentially threatening) presence. We won't spoil it for you, but it's worth watching 'til the end. "Since I haven't had a visual for nearly 3 years, I always wanted to plan something special," Seth told FADER in an email. "Between myself, Nick Walker, and Karim Huu Do, we did that. This song is the third track in my dream and continues off from the track that proceeds it called 'How I Dream' this is the second half of a short I filmed with the first half to be out very soon. This is the beginning of a story of visuals which will compliment my forthcoming tape 'Perception' Coming Mid-April."

"For the 'I Arise' video I wanted to incorporate the past themes from Danny's previous videos but showcase his latitude as an artist and performer," Walker said to FADER. "In the end we have a visual for his past journeys and his awakening serves as the jump off point for the future."
