Remember how Jay Z has been locked in a legal battle with sound engineer Chauncey Mahan over the ownership of masters of The Life and Times of S. Carter and The Dynasty since around this time last year? Of course you do.

As a quick refresher: Mahan tried to extort Roc Nation for $100,000 over the tapes, before they were seized by the LAPD instead, who have since been holding them while determining who the rightful owner is. Mahan then tried to sue Roc Nation in July 2014, but TMZ reports today that a judge just threw the case out, meaning Jay now owns the rights to the masters. Case closed.
