Hear PINS’ Breezy “Young Girls”

The Manchester four-piece makes it sound easy and breezy on this new one.

April 20, 2015

Manchester's PINS have cooked up an easy, breezy, beautiful one with "Young Girls," a sunny-day indie shuffler that flows perfectly in time for the gentle winds of spring (embracing my inner poet right now, y'all). The tune is taken from their new album, Wild Nights, which drops June 9 via Bella Union; PINS have quietly established themselves as a sturdy act over the last few years, so trust that this is one platter to keep an eye out for. Band member Faith Vern tells FADER about this tune, "'Young Girls' is my ode to all the wanna-be's and gonna-be's, it's about having a dream and making it happen. In many ways I feel like i am in the middle of a transition and 'Young Girls' is written from that vantage point; its' full of determination, frustration and celebration... much like most days in this band!"
