Aero Flynn’s Video For “Dk/Pi” Stars The Coolest Snowmobile-Driving Mom

Vibe with the clip for Josh Scott’s beautiful single.

April 30, 2015

Minneapolis-based Aero Flynn, a member of the Wisconsin music scene that produced bands like Bon Iver and Field Report, shares a video for their first single "Dk/Pi" off this year's self-titled album Aero Flynn. The scenic short features a Samus Aran-esque supermom running errands on a snowmobile with a performance helmet ever-affixed to her head. The long snowscape voyages are a perfect visual for the fizzing, solemn single.

In an email with FADER, songwriter Josh Scott half-explains the concept in dreamy fragments: "'Dk/Pi' is an anomaly in the system... its trajectory aiming for the wonder... its ambiguities are manifested in the visceral force of this video. By staying within certain parameters of tranquil life, the video rides into the pastoral... an homage for the lonely." Watch above and click here for next month's tour dates.
