If you follow Grimes on Instagram, you may have noticed someone called HANA popping up on her feed over the past few months, occasionally in the company of "Go" collaborator Blood Diamonds. Grimes just revealed on Twitter that HANA is a new solo artist, linking to her Blood Diamonds-produced debut single, "Clay." It's got a touch of Cyndi Lauper magic to it—that's not a vocal reference, but a songwriting one, as there's simple and honest power to HANA's lyrics. It's actually a win for simplicity all around, as Blood Diamonds' production is warm and understated. Now, that's teamwork. Plus, Grimes also let slip HANA will sing with her on her upcoming tour with Lana Del Rey this summer.
