Game of Thrones Actor Raleigh Ritchie Premieres Sounwave-Produced “Never Say Die”

“Even the most fast living people hit a roadblock at some point. I just wanted to talk about it.”

One might think Raleigh Ritchie's day job—playing Unsullied leader Grey Worm on HBO's smash hit Game of Thrones—would be enough, but the singer and Bristol native is leaning hard into his musical career as well. He has been nominated for a MOBO award, remixed by grime greats, and is now at work on an album which he's teasing with "Never Say Die," a slick meditation on the fast life that was produced by TDE's in-house producer Sounwave.

"The song explores the idea that even the most fast living people hit a roadblock at some point," Ritchie told The FADER. He knows this, he says, because he's been there: "I was one of those people for a time. I guess I just wanted to talk about it, try and find a way to make peace with it. I hope there's a bit of triumph in the face of that too, that it's something you can come out the other end a stronger person and live another day."
