Dougie F Premieres “Last Night”

Diplo’s latest co-sign channels Drake.

New Jersey rapper Dougie F's star has been rising since Diplo dipped into the Jersey Club scene and championed "Back Up On It," the Orange native's minimalist banger with DJ Fire. Dougie has since joined the Mad Decent stable, and is now gearing up for the release of a solo project called Block Party. The latest off that tape is "Last Night," a laconic, horn-laced anthem that sounds like it was spit after a serious Drake-binge.

If it also sounds effortless, Dougie says it's because it was. "'Last Night' was one of the easiest records I recorded," he told The FADER. "I was out in L.A. at the time so of course we had just rolled up a backwood, but I just hopped in the booth, started to freestyle a bunch of random melodies and words, and out came a really dope record." Check it out below.
