Freddie Gibbs Made A Song With A Metal Band

Here’s a crazy one: Gary, Indiana legend Freddie Gibbs has joined notoriously gnarly Flint, Michigan metal band King 810 on a new song, “Tied To The Whipping Post.” It will appear on the band’s upcoming, DJ Drama-hosted mixtape, Midwest Monsters 2. "I'm a versatile artist and I love to challenge myself artistically,” Gibbs told The FADER in an email about the collaboration. “Making a song with a metal band from Flint is an example of that versatility. You can't put me in a box.”
