Frankie Cosmos, Lee Ranaldo, And The Feelies To Play Outdoor Shows At Storm King Art Center

If you like to hear your riffs in a slightly more rural setting, the Storm King Art Center has the concert series for you. The Mountainville, NY sculpture park (an hour outside of the city) announced its annual summer lineup today, and the Center is squeezing a lot of exciting guitar bands into three potent shows (with help from Ground Control Touring): The Feelies, Lee Ranaldo, Porches, Frankie Cosmos, and Alex Bleeker and the Freaks. Cosmos and Porches kick it off this weekend at 2 PM, ex-Sonic Youth guitarist Ranaldo takes over on August 9, and legendary New Jersey rockers the Feelies will end the series on a high note September 20.
