Run Through Provincial France In The Debut Video From POSTAAL

The Anglo-French duo make a bid for “Freedom.”

July 10, 2015

POSTAAL are a duo made up of one English guy and one French guy, who both live in Paris and spend their time there making unshakeable electronic pop bangers like "Freedom." With raspy French verses running headlong into pounding English choruses, the song is all about yearning for freedom, and the track's new video follows young people in provincial France doing exactly that. The clip started life as a short film by director Charlotte Cassart, who the duo met in Paris. " We liked how [the film] represented a world that can catch up with you," POSTAAL told The FADER over email. "That your situation can't be taken for granted and your status isn't guaranteed, things can always come back around." An edited version of the film is now the greying, romantic video you can watch below.
