News broke this morning that Birdman might be connected to the recent attack on Lil Wayne's tour bus. Now it appears that the Birdman vs. Wayne saga has also become entangled with the streaming services' fights for exclusive album streams. TMZ reports that Birdman's Cash Money Records is suing Jay Z's Tidal for streaming Lil Wayne's recently-released FWA.

According to TMZ, the lawsuit calls Jay Z's move to bring on Wayne as a Tidal partner "a desperate and illegal attempt to save their struggling streaming service." The document goes on to claim that Wayne is not allowed to license his music to other companies. In addition, Birdman apparently didn't like FWA: TMZ says the suit references the record's "tepid reviews."
