When Future announced dates for a free "Salute The Fans" tour, we knew the hive would be hyped. His latest album, Dirty Sprite 2, just dropped last week and word on the web was that the lines for these shows were going to be insane. So yesterday afternoon, The FADER hit the streets and headed to the Highline Ballroom to find out.
Police officers on scene had the perimeter barricaded and informed latecomers that the 600-capacity event was already sold out. Despite the pushback, there were still fans devoutly waiting in the queue. After chatting with those in line—as well as a few triumphantly clutching wristbands— The FADER walked away learning one very important thing: Future fans are the most #loyal.
