Anxious Frank Ocean fans are patiently waiting for the artist's followup to his 2012 release, Channel Orange. Stroking nerves, Ocean's website was refreshed today and unaccessible tabs for "audio" and "text" have been added. But a look at the source code of Ocean's site suggests he'll also be selling some new merchandise. It appears there’s a pair of bright yellow high tops that may be a collaboration with legendary Japanese designer Yohji Yamamoto, as well as new shirts and a hoodie. (Reps for Frank Ocean did not immediately return a request for comment.)
Check out images and descriptions from Ocean's site:
Looks like the "Stripe Box Hoodie" will be sold for $60.
A similar "Stripe Box Tee" will be sold for $30.
There are these very yellow "Yohi Yamamato Y-3 Sneakers." According to a page on the site, they will apparently be sold for $50.
It's worth noting that Y-3 shoes normally retail for around $300. The site also spelled the designer's name "Yohi," when it is actually Yohji. If Frank collaborated with Y-3, the sneaker above is probably not that shoe—the logo on the above pair does in fact appear to be the Vans logo, but a reverse-image search on Google Images does not turn up a pair of shoes exactly like these.
